Born on July 28, 1961 in Cheverly, Maryland, he was the son of the late Douglass Ellsworth Carr, Sr. and Dorothy J. (Schoonover) Carr. He worked as a carpenter.

Surviving are two sisters, Valerie Carr of Glen Burnie, MD, Jo Ann Dagsted of Emmons, Minnesota and a brother, Russell Coker of Atlanta, Georgia. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 29, 2019 in McKee Funeral Home Chapel at 12:00 P.M. with Mac Watts officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday from 11:00 A.M. until time of service.
