Earl W. Geesaman, 89, of South Hanover Township passed away Sunday, April 22, 2018 at his home. Born July 20, 1928 in Hummelstown, he was a son of the late John and Edna (Teets) Geesaman and was the widower of Sadie (Rowe) Geesaman. He was also preceded in death by siblings Verna Gamber, Lloyd Geesaman, Courtney Geesaman, Ralph Geesaman, LeRoy Geesaman, Lillian Keller, and Arlene Hess and granddaughter Amy Warner.

Retired from Curry’s Flour Mill, Palmyra, he attended East Hanover Church of God. Surviving are his wife Violet N. (Fox) Geesaman; children Earl Geesaman, Jr. of Lebanon, Daniel Geesaman of Lebanon, William Saufley of Grantville, Janet Appleby of Harrisburg, Carrie Raynes of Cleona, and Joyce Warner of Lebanon; siblings Marlin Geesaman, Herman Geesaman, Pauline Winfindale, Martha Goodling, John Geesaman, Fred Geesaman, Ray Geesaman, and Fay Dietrich; seven grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, April 26, 2018 at Hanoverdale Church, 577 Hershey Road, Hummelstown with interment in the adjoining Hanoverdale Cemetery.

Viewing 6:00 – 8:00 PM Wednesday at Buse Funeral Home, 9066 Jonestown Road, Grantville and 10:00 – 11:00 AM Thursday at Hanoverdale Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Central Pennsylvania, 1320 Linglestown Road, Harrisburg, PA 17110.
