Obituary for Edward J. Kulik Edward J. Kulik, 80, a lifelong West Springfield resident, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 27, 2018 at Willimansett Center West, Chicopee. Born July 22, 1937, son of the late John and Aniela (Kiebala) Kulik, he was a communicant of Holy Mother of the Rosary National Catholic Church in Chicopee. A graduate of West Springfield High School, Edward continued his education at Northeastern University, earning a degree in Chemical Engineering.

He served our country as a US Army Infantry Specialist, earning commendations as a rifle marksman, with the rank of Corporal. Edward was employed by United Technologies Corp. at its Hamilton Standard and Pratt & Whitney Divisions.

He greatly enjoyed tending to his vegetable gardens, and canoeing for relaxation. Edward was predeceased by his brother, Edwin C. Kulik. Funeral services for Edward will be held Wednesday from Kozikowski Funeral Home, 565 Front St., Chicopee, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM in Holy Mother of the Rosary Church.

Burial with Military Honors will follow in the parish cemetery. Calling hours are Wednesday morning from 8-9:30AM. Memorial contributions may be made to the Heating Fund of Holy Mother of the Rosary Church, 26 Bell St., Chicopee, MA 01013.
