Obituary for Celia C. Stolar Celia C. (Kos) Stolar, 97, a lifelong Chicopee resident, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 21, 2018 at Wingate at Wilbraham, with her loving family at her side. Born November 22, 1920, daughter of the late Samuel and Helen (Pajak) Kos, she was a graduate of Chicopee High School, and a communicant of the Basilica of St. Stanislaus, Bishop & Martyr. Celia worked for many years in the golf division of A.G. Spaulding Manufacturing.

She was an avid follower of golf tournaments and local golf player accomplishments, and especially enjoyed shopping and trips to the casino. Celia was predeceased in 1996 by her beloved husband, Charles Stolar, and is survived by her loving children, Celia A. Tarasavitch of Ludlow, Robert A. Stolar and wife Aline of Feeding Hills, and Richard C. Stolar of Chicopee; her sister, Helen Pitittieri and husband Sam of Chicopee; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son-in-law, Richard Tarasavitch, and her siblings, Josephine, Steffie and Mitzie.

Funeral services for Celia will be held Tuesday from Kozikowski Funeral Home, 565 Front St., Chicopee, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM in St. Stanislaus Basilica. Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery. Calling hours are Tuesday morning from 8:30-9:45AM.
