Obituary for Lydia M Kandyba Lydia M. (Dzieciolowski) Kandyba, 68, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 23, 2018, with her loving family by her side. Born in Warsaw, Poland on November 7, 1949 to the late Mieczyslaw and Wladyslawa (Parzychowski) Dzieciolowski, she emigrated from Poland to Chicopee in 1959, where she lived for several years before relocating to Staten Island. Lydia was a graduate of Alliance College and worked as a travel consultant for American Express.

An avid reader, she also enjoyed traveling with her husband and family, and cooking. Lydia is survived by her beloved husband of thirty-seven years, Andrzej Kandyba; three loving siblings, Henry M. Dzieciolowski and wife Michal Brown, of Deerfield, Isabelle Lak, of Chicopee, and Alice L. Crochiere and husband Jay, of Hopkinton; many cherished nieces, nephews and great nieces; and her family in Poland, Jadwiga Praczuk, and Agnieszka Faron Pasek and family. Funeral services for Lydia will be held Saturday from Kozikowski Funeral Home, 565 Front St., Chicopee, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM in St. Stanislaus Basilica.

Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery. Calling hours are Saturday morning from 9-10:45AM. Upcoming Events Visitation , SEP 29.
