Obituary for Edward Lichwala Edward Lichwala, 95, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 10, 2018, at Renaissance Manor Nursing Home. Born April 24, 1923, son of the late Peter and Antonia (Mitus) Lichwala, he was a lifelong Chicopee resident. Edward was a communicant of the Basilica of St. Stanislaus, Bishop and Martyr, and worked as a machinist in the tool making industry.

Edward is survived by a loving sister, Helen Les, of Chicopee; a loving brother, Frank Lichwala, of Florida; and four caring nieces. He was predeceased by a brother and sister. Funeral services and burial in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Chicopee, were private.
