On April 29, 2018, Edward Wayne Pearcy, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully at his home in Anchorage, Alaska at the age of 75. Edward was born January 11, 1942 in Turlock, CA. He enlisted in the U.S Air Force March of 1959 .

After his tour of duty, he joined his brothers and sisters in Alaska. Ed loved the outdoors and driving the highways of Alaska often stopping to visit with family and friends. Survivors include wife Carol Pearcy, Brothers: Charles R. Pearcy “Diana” Albany OR.

and Robert Pearcy ”Diana” Visalia, CA. Sisters: Melba R. Biggs, Las Vegas, NV. , Margi Ginnaty “Mike” Mesa, AZ.

, Glenda Hazlitt “David, Chandler, Carolyn Pearcy, Gaithersburg, Md. Daughters: Deanna Mello, Ceres, CA Katheleen Bloodgood “Matt”, Kirsten Deacon, “Anthony“, Josette Pearcy, Sons: Randy Wayne Pearcy, Martin Scott Pearcy, Richard B. Pearcy. Numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren , and great grandchildren.

Edward was preceded in death by, his mother Bessie M Pearcy, father W.W. Pearcy, step mother Maggie Pearcy, brother, Billy Joe Pearcy, and sister Dorothy Pollack. Interment services well be held at 11:30 AM on Friday, May 4, 2018 at Fort Richardson National Cemetery located at 58- 512 Davis Hwy , Fort Richardson, Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska. We will be meeting at the Ft Richardson gate at 11:00 am to be escorted to the cemetery.

Early arrival is recommended. Relatives and friends are welcome. Following the Interment service, there will be a celebration of life at the Mt.

Vernon Commons House – Entrance is off of 34th Avenue, between Eureka and Bering Street. On street parking, limited parking outside of gate entrance only. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are encouraged to The National Cancer Society or charity of your choice.
