Obituary for Elizabeth F. Springer Elizabeth F. Springer, 81, of York died on June 19, 2018 at Normandie Ridge. She was the wife of Kenneth Springer, Jr. of York. Born in York on March 19, 1937, she was the daughter of the late William and Ruth (Motter) Free.

She was a travel agent for A.A.A. Elizabeth was a member of the Young Women’s Club, she was a jewelry buyer for the hospitality shop at York Hospital; she was a gourmet cook and avid bridge player and gardener and traveler. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Her greatest joy was entertaining her family and friends.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by five children, Cheryl Bennett and husband Rick of Lititz, Steven Protheroe and wife B of Las Vegas, NV, Kenneth Springer, III and wife Christina of New York, NY, Krista Basore and husband Stephen of Wellington, FL and Jennifer Janssen and husband Mario of Park City, UT; her grandchildren Zachary and Lindsay Bennett, Alexzandra Protheroe, Alex, Sophia and Ella Springer, Juliet, James and Jude Basore, and Kennedy and Nicolas Janssen; a brother William Free and his wife Jean of Arizona; and a sister in law Mary Free of York. She was preceded in death by a brother Robert Free. A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 29, 2018 at 11:00 am at the Etzweiler Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, 1111 East Market Street, York with Rev.
