Obituary for Evelyn A. Warner White Evelyn A. Warner White, a longtime resident of Beacon, entered into rest on March 20, 2018 at Regional Hospice & Palliative Care Center, Danbury, CT. She was 69 years old. Evelyn was born on September 9, 1948 in White Plains, the daughter of the late Samuel T. and Millie Carollo Warner.

Evelyn grew up in White Plains and married Richard White. Together they shared 47 years of marriage. Evelyn worked for Reader’s Digest in Chappaqua for many years.

In addition to her husband, Evelyn is survived by her sister, Susan Thornton and her husband, Mark; her nieces and nephews, Amy, Amanda and Mark, Jr.; and her cousins, Louis Carollo, Carrie Carollo and Collette Carollo. Family and friends will be received on Sunday, March 25 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Riverview Funeral Home by Halvey, 2 Beekman Street, Beacon. A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 26 at 11 a.m. at Fishkill Rural Cemetery, 801 Route 9, Fishkill.

Memorial donations in memory of Evelyn may be made to Regional Hospice & Palliative Care Center, www. regionalhospicect.org/make-a-gift/ or to 30 Millstone Road, Danbury, Connecticut 06810. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Patrick J. Halvey of Riverview Funeral Home by Halvey, LLC.
