Obituary for Joseph R. LaVallee Joseph R. LaVallee, 92, died at a VA Facility in Melbourne, FL on July 1, 2018. He was born August 4, 1925 to Sarah Prime LaVallee and Thomas L. LaValle in Saranac Lake, NY. He is survived by sisters Theresa Horn of Hopewell Junction, NY and Ellen Flock of Staatsburg, NY, as well as many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by three brothers Thomas, Charles and John LaVallee and one sister Elizabeth Freeman. Mr. LaVallee attended St. Joachim’s School and Beacon High School, served in the US Army during WWII, and engaged in the Battle of the Bulge in Europe. He was a construction worker in Beacon, NY prior to his retirement.

A Christian Burial Mass will be offered at St. Joachim Church, 51 Leonard St. Beacon, NY on July 19, 2018 at 10am. Burial to follow at St Joachim Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
