Obituary for Ramon L. Vasquez Ramon L. Vasquez, a longtime New York City resident and currently of Beacon, passed away on August 25, 2018 at Fishkill Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation. He was 74. Ramon was born on May 5 1944 in Ponce, Puerto Rico, the son of the late Luis Soliveres Vasquez and Leticia Vega.

Ramon retired as an electrician from Joseph Richter, Inc. in New York City after 40 plus years of service. Ramon is survived by his children, Raymond Vasquez and Yvette Vasquez and her husband, Ralph Negron; his grandchildren, Nicholas, Natalie, Nina, Rachel and Stacey; his three great-grandchildren; his sister, Mary Cruz; several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, August 28 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Riverview Funeral Home by Halvey, 2 Beekman Street, Beacon.

A funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 7 p.m. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Patrick J. Halvey of Riverview Funeral Home by Halvey, LLC.
