Obituary for Thomas Wayne Cipolla Thomas Wayne Cipolla, a longtime resident of Beacon and formerly of Peekskill, passed away on October 1, 2018 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was 52 years old. Tom was born on October 24, 1965 in Yonkers; the son of the late George W. Cipolla and Anne M. Avezzano Cipolla.

Tom had many jobs in his life but was most proud of being the assistant produce manager at Key Food in Beacon. He had also previously worked part-time at the Yankee Clipper in Beacon. He was currently employed at Dunkin Donuts.

Tom was well loved by his family and many friends. He was a very giving person. No matter how down on his luck he would help anyone.

He had a great sense of humor and was able to uplift so many with his humor. Tom is survived by his daughter, Sarah Hardison and her husband, Paul; his grandchildren, Sean and Samantha Hardison; his brothers, George Cipolla and wife, Florence Lasicki, Donald Cipolla and wife, Karen and their son, Neil, Daniel Cipolla, his daugther, Anne Marie and his wife, Linda and his step-children, Heather Purdy, Leo Purdy and Emily Purdy; his “cousin-brothers,” Joseph Cipolla, Robert Cipolla and George “Little George” Cipolla; several other nieces and nephews, many cousins and other extended family. In addition to his parents Tom was predeceased by his nephew, Eric Cipolla and his brother, Edward Cipolla.

Family and friends will gather on Saturday, October 13 from 12 to 2 p.m. at Riverview Funeral Home by Halvey, 2 Beekman Street, Beacon. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Patrick J. Halvey of Riverview Funeral Home by Halvey, LLC.
