Obituary for Patricia A. Ganzer Patricia A. Ganzer, a resident of Beacon, entered into rest Monday, July 16, 2018 at Fishkill Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing. She was 69. Daughter of the late Harold E. and Margaret Gilland, she was born October 10, 1948 in Newburgh.

Prior to her retirement, Pat worked at Rojan and K-Mart both in Poughkeepsie. She was a member of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Beacon. Pat enjoyed knitting, spinning yarn and was also an avid reader.

Survivors include her son, Eric Ganzer and his companion, Traci Pomarico and son, Cody of Arlington, Texas; her brother, Gary Gilland and his wife, Marlene of Beacon; her sisters, Bernice Fury of Pine Bush and Marcia Lumia and her husband, John of Wappingers Falls; and her nieces and nephew, Jenna, Sarah, David and Andrea Grace. Family and friends will gather on Thursday, July 19, 2018 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Riverview Funeral Home by Halvey, LLC, 2 Beekman Street in Beacon. A funeral service will be held at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. Donations may be made in Pat’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. The family would like to thank Hudson Valley Hospice and the staff of Fishkill Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing.
