Evelyn’s Obituary Evelyn Dean Nichols, 95, of Marshall, MO, passed away Sunday, January 27, 2019 at Mar-Saline Manor in Marshall. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 1, 2019 at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall with Rev. David Slusher officiating.

Burial will follow at Sunset Gardens Cemetery in Marshall. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to Gill Memorial Baptist Church and an online guestbook is available at www.

campbell-lewis.com Born August 1, 1923, in Marshall, she was the daughter of the late Orville Dean Moore Sr. and Celia Crispin Sanderson Moore. On March 3, 1945, she married Robert Linwood Nichols and he preceded her in death on August 1, 2011. Evelyn lived in Saline County her entire life where she retired from International Shoe Company and was a charter member of Gill Memorial Baptist Church.

Survivors include three sisters: Viola Hays and Donna Moore of Marshall and Celia McCleskey of Independence; as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Evelyn was preceded in death by three brothers: O.D. Moore Jr., William F. Moore, and Orville Moore; and one sister, Doris Dryer.
