Vera’s Obituary Vera Lea Lightfoot, 94, of Alma, MO, died Tuesday, January 22, 2019, at the Good Shepherd Care Community in Concordia, MO. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Alma with Rev. Timothy Miille officiating.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Pallbearers will be Vera’s six nieces and nephews: Terry McIntire, Mike McIntire, Larry McIntire, Sherry McIntire, Marilyn Williams, and Janet McIntire.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Trinity Lutheran Church or your local no kill animal shelter in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home. An online guestbook is available at www. campbell-lewis.com Born October 13, 1924, in Jackson County, MO, she was the daughter of the late Charles E. McIntire and Violet M. Fowler McIntire.

On July 7, 1952, she married Joseph R. Lightfoot who preceded her in death in 1993. Vera was an office worker, a former member of Bales Baptist Church in Kansas City and currently a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Alma. Survivors include nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one sister, Virginia Cole; and two brothers, John Charles McIntire and Lawrence McIntire.
