David’s Obituary David Daniel Thompson, 58, of Marshall, MO, died Sunday, January 20, 2019, at home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, January 26, 2019, at St. Peter Catholic Church in Marshall, with Fr. Mark S. Smith officiating.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church. Burial will be in Ridge Park Cemetery in Marshall. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or The Marian Association in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall.

Friends may sign the online register book at www. campbell-lewis.com Born October 27, 1960, in Marshall, he was the son of the late Gregory J. Thompson and Mary Ellen Barnes Thompson. He lived in Marshall most of his life and was a 1979 graduate of Marshall High School.

He worked for Thompson Quality Construction and was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church. Survivors include one daughter, Lauren Thompson of Lee’s Summit; 11 siblings: Paula South (John) of Blue Springs, Gregory Thompson (Donna) of Marshall, Raymond Thompson (Nancy) of Marshall, Timothy Thompson (Debbie) of Marshall, Marie Dominguez (David) of Reidsville, NC, Damien Thompson (Carol) of Marshall, Laura Vollmer of Boonville, Mary Arnold (Morgan) of Bunceton, Paul Thompson (Kimberly) of Marshall, Joseph Thompson (Susie) of Marshall and Rita Thompson (Mook) of Marshall; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Robert Vollmer.
