Lester’s Obituary Lester Tebbenkamp, 78, of rural Corder, MO, died Wednesday, February 13, 2019, at Good Shepherd Care Community in Concordia. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 16, 2019, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Alma, with Rev. Timothy Miille officiating.

Burial with military rites will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the church. Memorials are suggested to Trinity Lutheran Church, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation or Lafayette County Cancer Coalition in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home.

An online guestbook is available at www. campbell-lewis.com Born November 23, 1940, in Higginsville, he was the son of the late Joseph W. Tebbenkamp and Nora Werths Tebbenkamp. Lester lived in the rural Lafayette County area his entire life and was a 1959 graduate of Alma High School and a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

He was a veteran of the United States Army and a member of Tieman-Blackburn American Legion Post 478. On November 2, 1974, he married Dianne Parker Bruemmer who survives of the home. Lester was a lifelong farmer in the Lafayette county area and a member of the Missouri Maine Anjou Association.

In addition to his wife, Dianne; he is survived by one daughter Kerry Wilken (Brent) of Waverly, NE; one son, Cody Tebbenkamp of Columbia, MO; one stepson, Clark Bruemmer (Nancy) of Milan GA; two grandchildren, Beau and Taylor Wilken; five step-grandchildren: Zackery, Kyle, Rochelle, Eric and Logan Bruemmer; six step-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Lula Nolte (Richard) of Kansas City, MO and Martha Bracher (Neil) of Albuquerque, NM; as well as several nieces and one nephew.
