Louise’s Obituary Louise Schnakenberg, 70, of Concordia, MO, died Wednesday, January 16, 2019, at her home. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, January 24, 2019, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Concordia, with Rev. Michael Pottschmidt officiating.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, January 23, 2019, at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Concordia. Burial will be in St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery in Concordia. Memorials may be made to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church or Lafayette County Cancer Coalition.

Friends may sign the online register book at www. campbell-lewis.com Born October 12, 1948, in Sweet Springs, MO, Louise was the daughter of the late Leonard R. Eckhoff and Gertrude (Trudy) Hackenberger Eckhoff. She lived in Saline and Lafayette counties her entire life and was a graduate of Sweet Springs High School.

On August 13, 1966, she married Harvey C. Schnakenberg who preceded her in death on February 27, 2001. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. Survivors include two children, Christina Gates (Bruce) of Concordia and Mike Schnakenberg of rural Concordia; seven grandchildren, Katelin Schnakenberg, Kylie Schnakenberg, Kaden Schnakenberg, Sasha Chavez, Shanda Norris, Sierra Norris and Shayla Norris; nine great-grandchildren; three siblings, Jeanette Koch and Patty Lemmons both of Sweet Springs and Eugene Eckhoff of Higginsville; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Louise was preceded in death by two sisters, JoAnn Meyer and Linda Harms; and one brother, Dennis Eckhoff.
