Obituary for Florian W. Goron, Jr. Florian W. Goron, Jr., 92 of Connellsville died Thursday April 26, 2018 in the Hillside Estates Manor. He was born January 2, 1926 in McKees Rocks a son of the late Florian W., Sr. and Bertha E. Singer Goron. Early in his life Florian was employed by the PL&E Railroad and he retired from Westinghouse Semiconductor in Youngwood.

He was a veteran of the Navy serving during WW II. He was a member of the Conellsville VFW and American Legion and the Coke Center Region Antique Car Club of America. He was also a member of Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church and its Holy Name Society.

He is survived by his children, Ronald H. Goron and his wife Patricia, Irene C. McKenna, Joan Emanuel and her husband Salvator, Jr. and Daniel W. Goron, all of Connellsville; his grandchildren, Kerry R. Shipley and her husband John , Charles A. McKenna and Paul W. Emanuel and a great grandchild, Sawyer Shipley. Mr. Goron was the last surviving member of his immediate family. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his wife Ruby A. Cramer Goron in 2000; a brother, Raymond Goron and two sisters, Lillian Radanovich and Edna Liberato.

Friends will be received from 2-9 P.M. Sunday in the Brooks Funeral Home, Inc., 111 E. Green St., Connellsville where a Blessing Service will be held on Monday at 9:30 A.M. followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 A.M. in the Immaculate Conception R.C. Church with Rev. Robert Lubic as celebrant. Interment will follow in the Mt.
