Obituary for Frank Paul Doppelheuer Frank Paul Doppelheuer, 87, a lifelong resident of Connellsville, passed away Thurs. April 19, 2018 at his home, while surrounded by his loving family. He was born Oct.

25, 1930 in Connellsville a son of the late Frank Paul and Edna Mae Shaw Doppelheuer. Paul was a graduate of Connellsville High School with the class of 1949. Prior to his retirement her worked as an electrician for Anchor Hocking and Gatlings Auto.

Paul was a member of the Yough Bowling League, Connellsville Township Volunteer Fire Company, Connellsville Elks #503, Connellsville Slovak Club, and a former member of the Knights of Columbus. Paul was also a member of the Mt. Olive Evangelical Church in Bullskin Twp.

In addition to his parents Paul was predeceased by his wife of 57 years Eugenia F. Davis Doppelheuer who passed away on Oct. 6, 2007, his sons Gregory Doppelheuer on June 11, 2004, Richard Doppelheuer on Feb. 18, 2007, Keith Doppelheuer at birth, and his brothers Carl and Eric Doppelheuer.

Paul will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by his daughter Brenda Fisch and husband Daniel of Connellsville, his son Ronald Doppelheuer and wife Charlene of Connellsville, his daughter-in-law Joyce Doppelheuer of Normalville, his grandchildren Connie Murphy and husband William, Matthew Gaborko, Michael Doppelheuer and wife Krissie, Ronald Doppelheuer, Jr. and wife Rebecca, Jason Doppelheuer and wife Kelly, Amber Doppelheuer, Danya Fisch, and Josh Porterfield, his great grandchildren Kole, Rylee, Brody, Bailee, Tori, and Teagan Doppelheuer, Ethan Crowe, Emily and Annie Liska, Judy Sumner and husband Chris, and William Murphy, Jr., his great great grandchildren Jollene Sumner, Jordan Leonard, and Gabriel Murphy, his sister Louise Johnson and husband Harry of Virginia, and sister-in-law Joyce Doppelheuer of Connellsville. The family would like to give special thanks to Paul’s caregivers and UPMC Fayette Home Care, especially Ashleigh Hann Roscart, for all of there wonderful and kind care given to Paul. Family and friends will be received Mon.

from 2-9 PM and Tue. from 10 – 11 AM, the hour of a funeral service, in the Brooks Funeral Home Inc, 111 E. Green St. Connellsville(734-628-1430) with Pastor Lee Maley officiating. A committal service and interment will follow in Green Ridge Memorial Park, Pennsville.

The B.P.O. Elks #503 will conduct a service Mon. at 6:30 PM and the Connellsville Twp. Volunteer Fire Co. will conduct a service Mon.
