Obituary for Ronald I.”Shorty” Cramer Ronald I. “Shorty” Cramer, 78, of Connellsville (Springfield Twp. ) passed away peacefully Tue. April 10, 2018 at his home.

He was born March 18, 1940 in East Huntingdon Twp. , Westmoreland County, a son of the late Beacher and Nancy Elizabeth Barkley Cramer. Ronald was a Veteran of the U.S. Army having served during the Vietnam War and was a member of the Connellsville American Legion.

Prior to his retirement he worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator for Commercial Stone for 25 years. Ronald is survived by his sons William Cramer and wife Mary Jayne of Pittsburgh and Patrick Cramer and his fiancee Nancy Bittner of Connellsville, his grandchildren Ben and Alexa Cramer, and his sister Margaret. In addition to his parents Ronald was predeceased by his wife Doris Kinneer Cramer on June 28, 2012, 6 brothers and a sister.

Family and friends will be received Thurs. from 11 AM -3 PM and 5-7 PM, the hour of a Funeral Service, in the Brooks Funeral Home Inc., 111 E. Green St. Connellsville (724-628-1430) with Pastor Lee Maley officiating. Private interment will be in the Mt.

Joy Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to the American Cancer Society, 320 Bilmar Dr., Pittsburgh, PA.
