Obituary for Doris A. Nedley Doris A. Nedley, 83 of Connellsville died Sunday April 15, 2018 in the Hillside Estates, Connellsville. She was born September 13, 1934 in Confluence a daughter of the late Ferdinand and Nellie Avery Lint. Doris was a graduate of the former Dunbar Twp.

High School, Class of 1952. She was a resident of Connellsville since 1952. She was a faithful member of the Connellsville Presbyterian Church where she served as a deacon for many years and was a member of its Apple Dumpling Gang.

She worked for the Connellsville Area School District for nine years as a library aide and teacher’s aide. She is survived by two children, Diane Coligan and her companion William Gilmore of Connellsville and Robert R. Nedley and his wife Karen of White; five grandchildren, Lisa Coligan and her husband Pete of Helena, MT. , Scott Coligan of Chicago, IL.

, Jason Coligan and his wife Kim of Denver, CO. ,Marie Nedley and her fiancé Anthony Nesser of Greentree and Alan Nedley and his wife Lindsay of Rockledge, Fl. ; a brother, Kenneth L. Lint and his wife Betty of Lady Lake, Fl.

and a sister Shirley Dodgson of Forestville, MD. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband Robert R. Nedley on June 27, 1994; brothers, Donald C., James W. and Richard C. Lint and a sister Emma Lou Lehman and a son-in-law John Coligan. Friends will be received from 1-4, 6-9 P.M. Wednesday in the Brooks Funeral Home, Inc., 111 E. Green St., Connellsville where services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 A.M. with Rev.
