Francis “Frank” Eugene Fackler, 77, of South Bend, Indiana passed away at his home on Friday April 27, 2018. Frank was born on February 13, 1941 in Revenna, Ohio to Kenneth and Dorothy Maude (Laughlin) Fackler. Frank proudly served his country in the United States Navy, where he served on the U.S.S. Peterson.

After his term in the military he worked as a computer programmer. He enjoyed spending time with his family. His favorite time of the year was when he would decorate for Christmas.

Frank is survived by his daughter Nancy (Todd Sikorski) Fackler of South Bend; his son John Fackler of Bristol, Virginia; his grandchildren Tyler Fackler, Joey Sikorski, Amanda Sikorski, Blake Fackler, Kylie Fackler and Brooklyn Fackler. Also surviving are his brothers Kenny (Sandy) Fackler of Morriston, FL. And Richard Fackler of Bellview, FL.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother David Fackler. In keeping with Frank’s wishes all services will be held privately. His ashes will be buried at a later date at Marion National Cemetery, Marion Indiana.
