Francisco Frank S Escobar Jr , June 15, 1956 — September 29, 2018

Francisco “Frank” S. Escobar, Jr., 62, of Sierra Vista passed away on Saturday, September 29, 2018. Frank, son of Frank & Olivia Escobar, was born in Los Angeles, California on June 15, 1956. Frank was raised in Sierra Vista, attended Sierra Vista schools, and graduated from Buena High School in 1974.

He did not like sadness and often said that when he died, he wanted everyone to celebrate. He wanted everyone to be happy and get along. As a child of the 60’s & 70’s, he loved Elvis, the Beatles, and he wanted peace and love.

Frank loved his family & friends. He loved his pets and truly enjoyed nurturing his plants. Frank loved the world around him.

A few years ago, when his dad became very ill, he moved in with his parents and spent his days and nights caring for them. After his dad passed away two years ago, he stayed to care lovingly for his mom until his very last day. His last act of kindness was probably putting on the coffee before his mom got up.

That’s what characterized Frank and what we will all miss so much… a life defined by love. He is survived by his two children, Francisco and Kalyn; his mother, Olivia; grandchildren, Stephanie, Kiko, Arianna, and Aidan; his sister, Olivia (John); brother Daniel; six nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephew; many cousins; and countless friends.
