Jessie Diaz October 1, 1924 – November 15, 2018 Our dearly beloved mother, Jessie Diaz (Sita) left us on 15 November, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hilario; and one granddaughter, Jessica Rodriguez. She is survived by her sons, Larry (Peggy) and Carlos; her daughters, Susan Kearney (Joe) and Stella Rodriguez (Robert); along with ten grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren.

She also leaves behind one of ten brothers and sisters, Mavie Machain. Jessie was a lifelong Bisbee resident and a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. A caring mother, grandmother, and friend, Mother will always be cherished in both our minds and hearts.

She was always available to offer a helping hand to all in need. She also loved to share stories of her family history. Mother’s life was full of both joy and sadness, good fortune and misfortune, and after a long illness, she is now at rest.

May the Sacred Heart of Jesus show her mercy after her life of devoted service to family and others. Funeral Mass will be at St. Patrick’s Church at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, 27 November 2018. A rosary will be recited before Mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment at Evergreen Cemetery.

The family extends a very special and heartfelt thanks to Valor Hospice – nurses Susan and Jen; her care givers Celia, Sandra and Bisbee’s EMTs.
