Yolanda Duarte March 31, 1937 – October 16, 2018 Yolanda Duarte, known to all as Mrs. D, 81, of Sierra Vista, Arizona, went to be with our lord on October 16, 2018. She was surrounded by family. Yolanda was born in Nogales, Arizona, raised in Bisbee, Arizona.

Meeting the love of her life, Conrado in Bisbee and marrying in 1961. She owned and operated Eddie’s Mexican Restaurant and Lounge. Starting her entrepreneurial adventure with her mother, Helen, in Bisbee and then later moved her restaurant and family to Sierra Vista in 1976.

The owned/operated Eddie’s until 1994. “Yoli” lived very passionately, giving her all to everything she did. She loved to dance, play card with her friends, travel and go to the movies.

Her greatest joys was the time spent with family, especially her children, grandchildren, and husband. She loved wholeheartedly, lived adventurously, and laughed joyously. Yolanda was a parishioner of St Andrews the Apostle Catholic Church where she served as a Eucharistic Minister and was a member of the Charismatic Prayer Group.

She is survived by daughters: Lisa Duarte and Debe O’Rourke; son, Michael (Eleanor) Duarte; grandchildren, Daniel Duarte Jr, Vanessa Duarte, Shawn O’Rourke, Roleana (Camille) Moreno, Regina Duarte, Helens Huarte, and Eliana Duarte; great grandchildren, Valeria Moreno and Louie Conrado Moreno. She was preceded in death by her husband, Conrado M Duarte; her son, Daniel Duarte; her brother, Richard Fernandez; and parents, Henry and Helen Fernandez. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, October 28, 2048 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., rosary 6 p.m. at Hatfield Funeral Home, 830 S Hwy.

92, Sierra Vista. Funeral mass on Monday, October 29, 2018 at noon to celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Andrews the Apostle Catholic Church, 800 Taylor Drive. Rites of Committal for Yolanda will follow at 2 p.m. at the Chapel of the Southern Arizona Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 130 Buffalo Soldier Trail.

There will be a reception to follow at the Madonna Hall at St Andrews Church.
