Kelly M. Jerome September 18, 1962 September 26, 2018 Tucson- Kelly M. (Baker) Jerome, 56, of Sierra Vista peacefully passed away Wednesday, September 26, 2018 with her loving husband at her side in Tucson. Kelly, daughter of Richard and Gayle (Mahoney) Baker was born in Sacramento, California on September 18, 1962. Raised in Sacramento she graduated from John F. Kennedy High School in 1980.

She resided in California for 43 years before moving to Germany with her husband where she lived for 5 years. Kelly and Bill then moved to Sierra Vista where they have resided for the past 8 years. Kelly recently started working with her husband as a real estate agent and previously owned an operated a Child Day Care Center for 20+ years.

But her most important job was being a full time wife and taking care of her home and family. Kelly had a zest for life that was highly contagious, if you were to witness her brilliant smile you were immediately captured by her spirit. She had a way of making friends that was magical.

Kelly loved animals and nature the Ocean being her number one favorite, She cherished the times and people she met wherever she went, her love for animals led her to volunteering at both Canter and Horsen Around Rescue, she had a hearing service dog named Lula who was her constant loyal companion and a golden retriever named Sunny whom she treasured, her other loves were the humming birds in our backyard, hunting for scorpions, our days riding with the Harley group (HOG), the great outdoors and gardening and cooking for guests. Kelly will be missed by many but will live in the hearts of everyone she touched. let her feisty little soul into your hearts as we did while she was with us and in so doing remember her!

PS… she abhorred sorrow so show that smile you got when she smiled at you! Besides her parents, Kelly is survived by her husband, William S. Jerome; two sons, Paul Sousa (Kimberly) and Michael Sousa (Christina); a daughter Megan Franceschi (Chris); a brother Kevin Baker (Beth); two sisters, Tammy Novoa (Wayne) and Colette Schantz; several grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service and celebration of Kelly’s life will be held on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at 10:00 am at Hatfield Funeral Home, 830 South Highway, 92, Sierra Vista.

A visiting hour will precede her service on Saturday from 9:30 am to 10:00 am. The Celebration of life will be on Saturday 6 October 2018 at La Casita Mexican Restaurant & Cantina 465 E Fry Blvd Sierra Vista, AZ 85635 between 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM. Come and celebrate and share memories of this beautiful lady.

Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Kelly’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 215 West River Road, #245, Tucson, AZ 85704.
