Garald (Gary) M. Olsen, 84, passed away Wednesday February 13, 2019 in Clearfield, Utah. Gary was born January 4, 1935 in Tremonton, Utah to Lorenzo Marceal Olsen and Pearl Nessen Olsen. Gary served in the United States Army National Guard with an Honorable discharge December 1, 1957.

Gary lived in many places including: Utah, Washington State, Michigan, Arizona, and Alabama. Gary was a life long member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed many callings and was very knowledgeable about the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Gary loved the outdoors, design, and arts. He was very creative and ingenious with art creations in leather and painting, and aesthetically pleasing mechanical/construction design. His design work vocationally and personally included aircraft, military tanks, snow mobiles, snowmobile trailers, small buildings, campers, and firearm designs.

Gary is survived by his sisters Connie (Richard) Hirtzel, Shona Darter, Zena Olsen, and children Layne Olsen (Janis) and Kolynn Olsen, 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Gary was proceeded in death by his parents Lorenzo Marceal Olsen and Pearl Nessen Olsen, his brother DeWayne Olsen, and children Kim Olsen, Karen Warren, and Raymond Olsen. Services will be held in Layton Utah on Tuesday 19th February.
