Obituary for Gary Leon Tyler Gary Leon Tyler, 61, of Battle Creek, Michigan, passed away on Friday, April 13, 2018. He was born on February 8, 1957, the son of Coty Tyler and Eddie Edna Lou (Brown) Tyler. Gary graduated from Battle Creek Central High School.

He lived in Grand Rapids for many years before returning to Battle Creek. Gary enjoyed his friends and family. In his younger days, he loved to cook and BBQ for the family, as well as fishing and enjoying his catch for a good meal.

He enjoyed reading the bible and receiving the message in the quiet of his home. Gary is survived by his Sister, Gwendolyn Wesley; Three Brothers, Willy W. Barlow, Joe Barlow, Steve Nelson, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other loving friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his Sister, E.D.L. Montgomery.
