Gary R. Penix, age 76, of Rogersville, passed away on Thursday, March 7, 2019, at his home. He was a son of the late Roma and Ethel Daniels Penix. He was a member of East Rogersville Baptist Church.

Mr. Penix was a project manager at Eastman Kodak and a member of the American Bridge Association. He enjoyed playing cards and sports, especially the University of Kentucky. Survivors include his loving wife, Joyce Ringley Penix; sons, Chad Penix and wife Kelly of Lithia, FL, and Brian Penix of Clearwater, FL; step-son, Daniel Lemons and wife Jennifer of Winston-Salem, NC; grandchildren, Cole and Hailey Penix, and Lucas and Greta Lemons; brother-in-law, Dom Damico; special nieces, Stacey Martin and husband Buck, and Shayna Law and husband Tyler; and several great nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 1:00 pm Saturday, March 9, 2019, at East Rogersville Baptist Church. The memorial service will follow at 1:00 pm with Pastor John Butler officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent East Rogersville Baptist Church Building Fund.
