Gaylynne Smith passed away on June 16, 2018 at her home in Garland, Texas surrounded by her family. Celebration of life service will be held on Friday, June 29, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Lake Point Church, 1201 E. Campbell Road, Garland, Texas. Gaylynne was born on November 30, 1951 to Donald and Jane Ferguson in Dallas, Texas.

She enjoyed reading and shopping. She was a devout Christian and attended church regularly at Lake Point Church in Garland. To Gaylynne, her family was the most important thing in her life.

She doted on her children and granddaughter and love spending time with them. Gaylynne was also, anxiously awaiting the arrival of her second granddaughter, Zoey Miller. Gaylynne is survived by her loving husband, Phillip Smith; daughter, Mallory Miller and her husband, Jarrod; son, Chad Ryan; granddaughter, Brooklyn Ryan; Phillip’s daughters, Ashley and Jessica Smith; brother, Steve Ferguson and his wife, Donna, her faithful canine companion, Mixie, and many other family members and friends.
