Thelma Louise Hopkins of Red Oak, Texas passed away on July 18, 2018. Thelma was born on October 16, 1936 in Ennis, Texas to Edmond and Lorean Hodges. She was the youngest of 9 children.

When Thelma was younger she was a frequent guest at the local dance hall. She loved being on the dance floor dancing the night away. She also enjoyed playing the piano and spending time outdoors.

Above everything, Thelma treasured the time spent with her family. She always put her family first and devoted herself to them. She was especially close to her mother.

Thelma will be loved and missed by all who knew her. Thelma was preceded in death by her parents, and 8 siblings. She is survived by her children, Kay Womack, Judy Reaves and Marty Reaves; 4 grandchildren; 5 great- grandchildren and numerous other family members and friends.

Services for Ms. Hopkins’ will be at a later date.
