Laila Alise Bozeman went home to be with the Lord on Sunday July 08, 2018. Celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at Driggers and Decker Family Funeral Home, 105 Vintage Drive Red Oak, Texas 75154, at 10:00 a.m. Laila was born on April 17, 2012 in Lubbock, Texas. Although Laila had a difficult childhood, it was filled with love and support.

At the age of 10 months, Laila was brought into Ashanti Bozeman’s life as a foster child. Ashanti had no intention of adopting, especially a child with special needs, but she and Laila developed an unbreakable bond. The two were meant for each other.

Ashanti devoted herself to Laila’s care, while Laila gave gratitude through her little smiles and eye movements. Despite not being able to communicate, Laila loved having people around her. Her presence was truth that God made her in His perfect image and she will be very missed.

Laila is survived by her loving mother, Ashanti Bozeman, brother, Darrian Dove- Austin; sister, Lauren Bozeman; grandmother, Roceita Easmon, Aunt, Carnette Easmon; Uncle, Jacoby Moore and many other relatives and friends.
