Leslie L. Linscheid passed away peacefully on July 13, 2018. She was the daughter of Col. Gerald “Bud” Linscheid and Mary Elizabeth “Tissie” Linscheid of Vacaville, CA.

Leslie and her daughter Tessa moved to Red Oak, from Gualala, CA where Leslie owned and operated the renown Old Milano Inn. Leslie received her undergraduate degree from Georgia Southern University and her law degree from Lincoln University. She will fondly be remembered for her great laugh and wicked sense of humor.

As a world traveler and avid reader, she brought keen insight and perspective into any conversation including current events and always from an historical perspective. Known for her strong work ethic, she was a devoted mother and a great friend. Leslie was loved by those who knew her and will be missed dearly.

She is survived by her daughter Tessa Linscheid, brother and sister-in-law Jerry and Collen Linscheid, niece Sabrina Crandall as well as many relatives and friends in CA. Celebration of life service for Leslie will be held on Saturday August 18, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Driggers & Decker Family Funeral Home, 105 Vintage Drive Red Oak, Texas.
