Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 26, 2019, at Florence Memorial Gardens, directed by Waters-Powell Funeral Home. She was born in Florence, a daughter of the late Edward Willie and Nellie Turner Surles.

She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Mrs. Reaves was a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church in Florence. She was predeceased by her first husband of thirty-four years, George Cleatus Weaver, and her second husband of thirty years, Earl G. Reaves.

She was also predeceased by a grandson, William Larry Brown, Jr., and a great-granddaughter, Miranda Claire Weaver. Survivors include two daughters, Judy Weaver Lane Rabon of Florence, and Jean Weaver Brown of Rockingham, NC; two sons, George C. Weaver III “Buck” (Diane) and Jerry Weaver (Sharon), both of Florence; 11 grandchildren, Lee Lane (Tiletha), Jody Lane (Lisa), Cyndi Walters (Bryan), Kevin Brown, Cleat Weaver (Cari), Kyle Weaver, Kane Weaver, Eddie Weaver (Michelle), Traci Hewitt (Jesse), Alan Bateman (Katie), and Dawn Medford (David); 22 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
