Geoffrey Cooper, 80, of Sand River, passed away Friday, October 19, 2018 at U.P. Health System-Marquette. Geoff was born on April 22, 1938 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, a son of the late John and Betty (Campbell) Cooper. He was a graduate of Redlands High School in Redlands, California.

Geoff was a former owner of Seacoast Natural Foods in Imperial Beach, California for several years. He and his wife, Carole, then moved to the Marquette area where they owned and managed… Read More » Seacoast Lakeshore Resort. Survivors include his wife, the former Carole Refice whom he married on June 22, 1980 in San Diego, California; three children, Susan Cooper of Munising, Jennifer Cooper of Brazil, and John (Yolanda) Cooper of Solana Beach, CA; four grandchildren, Bethania, Nilo, Maria, and Isaac; one sister, Sally (Page) of Kelowna, British Columbia; also two nephews, Chris and Curt.

Preceding him in death besides his parents was a son, Joseph Duncan Cooper and a sister, Noelle Cooper. Memorial service arrangements will be announced at a later date. The Canale-Tonella Funeral Home is assisting the Cooper family where memories may be shared at canalefuneral.com.
