Georgia L. “Cookie” Johnson, 74, of Easton, PA, passed away Tuesday, January 29, 2019 in Easton Hospital. Born June 25, 1944, in McKeesport, PA, she was a daughter of the late Michael Sokol and Katherine (Takacs). She retired from Hunterdon Developmental Center where she worked for 10 years.

Georgia enjoyed traveling and crocheting. Surviving are two sons, Tom Kyne and his wife Kathy, of Bangor and Rick Johnson and his wife Lynn, of Hellertown; two daughters, Michelle Kyne, of Easton and Vicki Lynn Torcivia and her husband Fred, of Bethlehem Township; a brother, Robert Sokol, of McKeesport; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; a companion, Rick Rieker, of Catasauqua; and a nephew, Eric Sokol, of McKeesport. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday from 1-5pm in Edward H. Ackerman American Legion Post 397, 935 Main Street, Hellertown, PA.

Arrangements are by the Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., Easton.
