Emma L. Ebner, 95, formerly of Glendon Borough, passed away Sunday, January 20, 2019 in Old Orchard Health Care Center. Born January 2, 1924 in Phillipsburg, NJ, she was a daughter of the late William and Anna Louise (Heath) Dunlap. Her husband of 69 years, Frederick A. Ebner, died January 16, 2011.

She was last employed at the Web Restaurant at the former Orr’s of Warren. Emma enjoyed playing cards, quilting, gardening and cooking. She was active in many civic organizations in Glendon including Glendon Borough Council, PTA and SOLVE.

She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church. She was a member of the former Glendon United Methodist Church where she was treasurer of the Dorcas Society for 35 years. Surviving are two daughters, Freda L. Fries, of Palmer Township, and Peggy Sandt-Hendricks and her husband Bob, of Wind Gap; a son-in-law, Donovan Klotzbeacher, of Dayton, NJ; eight grandchildren, Suzanne Zito, Christopher Fries (Bobbi), Daina-Brie Simpson (Michael Bollentin), Robert Simpson III, Marnie Gava (Greg), Barry Sandt, Jr., Matthew Hendricks (Cory) and Amanda Hendricks (Sergey Khanukayev); and eighteen great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by an infant son, Frederick A. Ebner, Jr., a daughter, Dawn Simpson Klotzbeacher, a son-in-law, Gerald Fries, two brothers, Robert and William Dunlap, and three sisters, Iola Dunlap, Lois Adams and Thelma Dankel. Services will be held at 11am Friday in the Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., 2101 Northampton St., Wilson Borough. Call Friday 9:30-11am in the funeral home.

Burial will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine. Offer online condolences at www. strunkfh.com.
