Harrison, 84, of Bethlehem, PA, passed away on Friday, January 18, 2019 in Moravian Village Rehab Center. Beatrice was born in Roseto, PA, the daughter of the late Antonio and Elizabeth (Cocciardi-Ciliberti) DeFranco. Beatrice was a graduate of Bangor High School, class of 1952.

She married H. Eugene Harrison, whom she met while working at Lafayette College in the IBM Office, last August they celebrated 64 years of marriage. Beatrice was a member of St. Jane de Chantal Catholic Church. Throughout her life she belonged to many clubs and associations and was a proud member of: The Northampton Country Club, URW Club, Lehigh Valley Contract Bridge Association (being a Senior Bronze Member), Junior Women’s club, as well as volunteering at Easton Hospital.

She enjoyed traveling with her husband to Europe and the Islands and spending winters in Sun City West Arizona. Bea loved a good laugh, shopping, clothes, spending time with friends, she cherished being with her family, especially for Sunday dinners, but she held most dear – her husband Gene, the love of her life! In addition to her husband, Beatrice is survived by her daughter Beth Fretz and husband Bill of Bethlehem, son Jimi Harrison of Easton; daughter, Patti Spirk and husband Francis of New Cumberland; grandchildren: Billy Fretz and wife Andrea; Todd Fretz and companion Laura Streubel; Steven Spirk; Amelia Spirk; great-grandchildren: Alyvia and Ella Fretz; Addison Streubel.

Siblings: Marty DeFranco and wife Dorothy; Armand DeFranco and wife Ann; Yvonne DeThomas and husband Isadore; Mamie Ciliberti; She is preceded in death by siblings Laura Caracio, Joe Ciliberti, Anthony Ciliberti, Jimmy Ciliberti, Gilda Castellano, Terry Diorio, Martha Hurley, Annie Marcone, and Dante DeFranco. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm with an additional calling hour on Wednesday from 9:00 am to 10:00 am in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10:30 am in St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church, 4049 Hartley Avenue, Palmer Twp.

Interment will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine, Palmer Twp. immediately following mass. Memorial contributions in Beatrice’s memory may be made to: The American Cancer Society, Lehigh Valley Unit 3893 Adler Place Bethlehem, PA 18017.
