Darren J. Washbourne, 54, of Forks Township, PA, formerly of Berkeley Heights, NJ, passed away Saturday, January 19, 2019 in St. Luke’s University Hospital. Born December 15, 1964 in Boonton, NJ, he was a son of the late John and Judy (DelVillar) Washbourne. He and his wife, Patricia A. (Seymour) Washbourne, would have celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary on January 22, 2019.

Darren was a 1983 graduate of Chatham High School, Chatham, NJ. He was the owner and operator of the former Interstate Door. Darren enjoyed spending time with his family, hunting, fishing, snowmobiling and riding quads.

He was a member of St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church. He was also a member of the Ironworkers Local 489. Surviving in addition to his wife Patricia, are two daughters, Danielle C. and Kelsey G. Washbourne, both at home; two brothers, Anthony J. Washbourne, of Meshoppen, PA and Craig D. Washbourne and his wife Jennifer, of Marathon, NY; a sister, Christine Brain, of New Jersey; and several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30am Friday in St. Jane’s Catholic Church, 4049 Hartley Ave. , Palmer Township. Call Friday 9:30-10:30am in the church.

Burial will be in Forks Cemetery. The Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., Wilson Borough, is in charge of arrangements. Offer online condolences at www.
