Benjamin’s Obituary Benjamin Cavotta, Sr., 98, of Easton, PA, passed away on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 in Manor Care. Benjamin was born in Philadelphia, PA, a son of the late Domeno and Elvira (DiChiara) Cavotta. Benjamin was married to Mildred Cavotta until her passing in 2001.

He served in the US Navy during World War II. Benjamin was a Police Officer for Easton until retiring in 1975; and later worked for the Northampton County Juvenile Facility for 10 years. He was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, and the Fraternal Order of Police.

Benjamin is survived by sons Benjamin J. Cavotta, Jr., William Cavotta, Richard Cavotta; grandchildren Kevin, Adam, Sarah, and Carrie Miller; great-grandchildren Rachel Cavotta, Catalina Cavotta, Diego Cavotta, Nathan Cavotta, and Madison Cavotta. In addition to his wife, he is preceded in death by brothers Sam and Michael, Sr. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10:00 am in St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 9th & Lehigh Streets, Easton, PA. Interment will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine, Palmer Twp.
