Obituary of Gerald Lapp Gerald K. “Shorty” Lapp, age 67, of Painted Post, passed away on Wednesday September 5, 2018 at home. He was born on January 5, 1951 in Waterloo, the son of Gordon and Ethel (Brown) Lapp. He married Rosemarie on September 9, 2015.

Gerald was an avid NASCAR fan. He is survived by his wife, Rosemarie, sons and daughters-in-law, Wesley and Christina Lapp and Derek and Tonya Lapp all of Georgia, daughter, Brandy Knapp of Addison, 10 grandchildren, and a sister, Karen Cagwin of Painted Post. Gerald was predeceased by his sister, Sally Noyes and his brother, Kenneth Lapp.

It was Gerald’s wish that there be no services. Arrangements by Carpenter’;s Funeral Home .
