Obituary of Frank Elwood Frank E. Elwood, age 72, of Corning, NY died Thursday, October 25, 2018 at his home. Frank was born on October 7, 1946 in Elmira to Ernest and Anna (Shook) Elwood. He married Rose Southard on July 13, 1999 in Corning.

He served in the U.S. Army and was employed by Schweizer Aircraft as a metal fabricator. He is survived by his wife Rose; daughters: Trisha Elwood of Elmira, Durene (John) Imes of Corning, and Colleen (Ted Spencer) Ward of Corning; sons: Jeff (Julie) Elwood of Breesport, Kenneth Southard of Corning, and Bruce (Toma Holden) Carpenter of Painted Post; 11 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; cousins, a niece and nephew. Frank was predeceased by his brother and sister, Carol Cunningham and Ted Elwood.

Memorial Services will be held on Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at Haughey Funeral Home, Inc., 216 E. First Street in Corning, at 6 PM with Rev. Earl Whittaker officiating.
