Obituary of Godfrey Green Godfrey Green, age 78, of Horseheads, formerly of Corning, passed away on Monday, October 1, 2018, at Elcor Health Services. He was born on December 31, 1939 in Hornby, the son of Adelbert and Emma (Everitt) Green. Godfrey was a graduate of Northside High School, a veteran of the US Coast Guard from 1957 to 1961, and he worked as a handy man for many years.

He is survived by his sons, Adlelbert Green, Godfrey Green, and Paul Green, daughter, Amy Yuzaki, all of Hawaii, brothers, Phillip Green and Theodore Green, grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Godfrey was predeceased by nine siblings. It was Godfrey’s wish that there be no visitation.

A private celebration of life service will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements by Phillips Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Corning.
