Obituary of Andrew Flood Andrew J. Flood, age 90, of Painted Post, NY died Monday, November 19, 2018. Andrew was born on January 17, 1928 in Frenchville, PA. He is the son of Clark and Bess (Mignot) Flood.

He married Annette Leigey on June 16, 1951 in Frenchville, PA. Andrew served in the Navy from 1946 to 1950. He retired from Corning Glass Works technical product division.

He is survived by his wife, Annette (Leigey) Flood; daughters, Susan (Suzanne Dougherty) Flood of Rochester, NY and Barbara (Mark) Lockhart of Painted Post, NY; sisters, Ann Schmoke of Milesburg, PA, Joyce Salmond of Marietta, GA, and Carolyn Bader of Dublin, OH; sister-in-law’s, Margaret Vavreck of Lake Mary, FL and Yvonne Wright of Curwensville, PA; and grandson, Ryan Dougherty of Brooklyn, NY. A private memorial will be held at the convenience of the family at St. Mary’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The Food Bank of The Southern Tier, 388 Upper Oakwood Avenue, Elmira, NY 14903, foodbankst.org, or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
