Obituary of Edward Brown Edward R. Brown, 67 years, of Campbell, NY passed away unexpectedly at his home on Monday November 26, 2018. He was born on January 24, 1951 in Elmira, NY the son of the late Raymond and the late Mariam (Crays) Brown. He was a graduate of Horseheads High School, class of 1970.

He joined the United States Army Reserves, serving from 1971 to 1977. He worked as a janitor for Horseheads High School for over 30 years before his retirement. Edward attended the New Life Assembly of God in Elmira, NY and more recently Victory Highway Wesleyan Church.

In his free time he enjoyed playing the drums – having played in a band for many years. He also will be remembered for his love of puttering and working around the house. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Deborah Brown of Campbell, NY; son, Frank Brown of Elmira, NY; grandchild, Malachai Brown of Addison, NY; sisters: Cindy (David) Fox of Glen Falls, NY, Darlene “Kay” (Dale) Osborn of Horseheads, NY; and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, December 1, 2018 from 3:00 to 5:00 pm at Carpenter’s Funeral Home, 14 E. Pulteney St., Corning, NY. A funeral service will immediately follow at the funeral home at 5:00 pm, Pastor Paul Mathers officiating. Burial with full military honors will take place in the family plot in Coopers Plains Cemetery on Monday, December 3, 2018 at 10:00 am.
