Obituary of Winona Smith Winona M. Smith, age 93 of Lawrenceville, PA passed away on Monday, October 8, 2018 at Steuben Center in Bath, NY. She was born on August 11, 1925, in Knoxville, PA, to Chauncey and Margaret Brennan Wainwright. Winona was the wife of the late Kenneth H. Smith, who died September 9, 1994, and predeceased by a son David who died December 18, 1986.

Winona is survived by son and daughter-in-law: Dennis and Delores Smith of Lindley, NY; daughter and son-in-law: Joni and Leland Tuttle of Madison Heights, VA; 8 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; sister: Helen Paris of Coudersport, PA. She was predeceased by her brother, Richard Wainwright and sister, Nellie Hills of Lawrenceville, PA. She was an active member of Lindley Community Church for 50+ years, and a resident of Lindley for 60 years before moving to Lawrenceville, PA.

She spent her remaining years at the Steuben Center for Health in Bath. A gathering of friends will take place on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at 2:00pm at the Lindley Community Church, 9605 Morgan Creek Road, Lindley, NY 14858. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lindley Community Church.
