Obituary of Vincent Caracci Vincent P. Caracci, age 83, of Corning, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday October 6, 2018 at home. He was born on November 14, 1934 in New York, New York, the son of Vincent and Mary (Knowski) Caracci. He married Grace A. Quattrini on April 30, 1955 at St. Vincent de Paul Church.

Vincent was a veteran of the US Marine Corps from 1953 to 1956, a member of the Corning Knights of Columbus 4th degree and he retired from Corning, Inc in 1999 following over 30 years of service as a Senior Project Engineer. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Grace, sons, Mark Edward (Vivian Wu) Caracci and Chris John (Kochy Tang) Caracci, four grandchildren, two great grandchildren, sisters-in-law, Elmerinda Stivers and Mary DePumpo, brothers-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Augustino Quattrini and Francis (Joan-dec. ) Pierri, and several nieces and nephews.

Vincent was predeceased by his siblings, Frank, Rose, Lee, and Rita. It was Vincent’s wish that there be no visitation. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial celebrating the life of Vincent on Thursday, October 11, 2018 at 12:00 noon at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 155 State Street, Corning.
