Obituary of Meribeth Ferreira Meribeth Y. “Beth” Ferreira, age 66 of Corning, passed away on Tuesday October 9, 2018 at Corning Centers. She was born on December 17, 1951 in Corning, the daughter of John Joseph and Phyllis Yvonne (Dillenbeck) Ferreira. Beth was employed as a teacher at Corning Painted Post School District, she was an instructor at an after school program and she volunteered at the Catholic Charities Food Pantry.

Beth was a member of the Marconi Lodge Auxiliary, she was very generous and she loved flowers. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Amanda Ferreira and Nathan Ignatz of Buffalo, brother and sister-in-law, John and Anita Ferreira of Connecticut, sister, Lisa Ferreira-Miller of Maryland, step mother, Doris Ferreira of Painted Post, sister-in-law, Deborah Ferreira of Corning, special family friend, Diane Groves of Corning, and several nieces and nephews. Beth was predeceased by her parents, John and Phyllis Ferreira and her brother, Michael Ferreira.

Family and friends are invited to call at Phillips Funeral Home & Cremation Service 17 W. Pulteney St., Corning, on Saturday, October 20, 2018 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm. A time of memory sharing will follow there at 3:00 pm. Those wishing may make donations to the National Kidney Foundation at www.
