Obituary of Jose Dickerson Jose F. Dickerson, age 39 years, of Addison, NY passed away on Monday, September 3, 2018 at Arnot Ogden Medical Center. Jose was born in Wellsboro, PA on September 30, 1978. Jose, a 1997 graduate of Addison High School, was a fun loving man, who was the life of the party.

He had a deep found respect for God and believed in the power of God’s word. He would pray for those around him and offer them comforting words in their time of need. Jose loved to cook and made it his profession, most recently a cook at Applebee’s in Erwin.

He was also an avid movie fan. He is survived by his mother: Peggy (Dickerson) Gardner of Addison; siblings: Clifford (Flora) Dickerson of Knoxville, PA, Misti (Bear) Stark of Clearwater, FL, Johnny (Anna) Gardner of Corning; step brother: Paul Gardner of Wellsville, NY; grandmother: Joyce Dickerson of Holiday, FL; niece: Freya Gardner of Corning; close aunt: Colleen Dickerson of Elmira, NY, along with several other aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was predeceased by his step-father, Stanley Gardner and grandfather, Francis Dickerson.

A celebration of life will be held at the Corning Moose Lodge, 96 Victory Hwy, Painted Post, NY 14870 on Sunday, September 9, 2018 from 2pm to 4pm. Arrangements are entrusted to Carpenter-Flint Funeral Home in Addison.
